Dear Folks,

Let's Celebrate

TRS Is Celebrating Its Fifteenth Anniversary

September 1993 we sent our first mailing to members.

To celebrate we will be offering our members at least fifteen gifts during the next twelve months.

We start this celebration with two gifts:

YGift 1: Any TRS member or prospective member who has a child or children in college or univeristy is eligible for a $20 discount on the memberhsip fee. You must provide some proof of enrollment. When you provide proof, we will provide a discount code. This offer applies to membership fees only. It does not apply to registration fees. This offer is valid through December 31, 2008.

YGift 2: Members frequently ask if their parents who are college educated but not from a TRS school can join. If you have a father or uncle who you want to sponsor, let us know. We are starting with fathers and uncles because we have good ratios and we want to maintain them. We will provide a discount code for a $20 reduction of the membership fee. This offer is valid through February 15, 2009. It does not apply to registration fees.

TRS Manners Department

Many members have been traveling and have not have access to a computer.
We urge members to log on and check their messages.

In TRS, you are expected to acknowledge every communication with a polite response.
Even if you are not interested in additional communication or in meeting with the person, you are required to respond.

The following may help you: "Thank you for contacting me. It is always flattering to receive an inquiry. I'm not sure that we have much in common. I'd prefer not to pursue this at this time."

Feel free to report to the manners police those who do not respond.
